Terms of Service

Effective August 17, 2026

These Terms govern your use of LocalAuditHQ. By creating an account, starting a paid subscription, or otherwise using the service, you agree to them.

The service

LocalAuditHQ audits detectable signals on public business websites, produces evidence-backed scores and reports, tracks changes between audit snapshots, and may generate optional content suggestions. Features and plan limits may change as the service develops.

The service provides readiness guidance, not professional legal, marketing, accessibility, security, or search-engine advice. It does not guarantee crawling, indexing, rankings, traffic, citations, recommendations, revenue, or inclusion in Google, ChatGPT, Claude, or any other search or AI system.

Eligibility and accounts

You must be able to form a binding contract and use the service for a business or other lawful professional purpose. You are responsible for accurate account information, protecting credentials, and activity under your account.

Workspace owners and administrators can invite users and manage business, report, and billing settings. You are responsible for the people you invite and for maintaining appropriate access when roles change.

Submitted websites and content

You represent that you have the right to submit each website and business profile for analysis. You grant us the limited permission needed to retrieve its public pages, process submitted information, store audit results, generate reports, and provide the service to your workspace.

You retain your rights in submitted business information. We retain all rights in LocalAuditHQ, including its software, scoring methods, visual design, and documentation. Suggestions generated by third-party AI services may be inaccurate or similar to material generated for others; verify them before use.

Acceptable use

You may not use LocalAuditHQ to:

  • Break any law, violate another person’s rights, or submit private or restricted systems without authorization.
  • Probe internal networks, bypass access controls or robots restrictions, distribute malware, or interfere with service operation.
  • Abuse public demos, rate limits, invitations, email delivery, provider calls, or billing systems.
  • Reverse engineer the service except where applicable law expressly permits it, resell access without permission, or use automated means outside provided workflows.
  • Present audit results or generated suggestions as guarantees from LocalAuditHQ or from a search or AI platform.

Subscriptions and payment

Paid plans renew automatically for the selected monthly or annual period until canceled. Prices, included capacity, taxes, and billing interval are shown before Checkout. Stripe processes payment details and subscription changes.

Workspace owners can update payment methods, change plans, or schedule cancellation through the Stripe Customer Portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period unless stated otherwise. Except where law requires otherwise, payments already made are nonrefundable and unused capacity does not roll over.

If payment is past due, paid access may continue for the displayed grace period and then fall back to Free limits. Data is retained, but actions above Free limits may remain unavailable until payment recovers or usage is reduced.

Availability and changes

We work to keep the service available, but audits depend on third-party websites and providers that can be unavailable, block collection, change output, or return incomplete data. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features and may impose reasonable limits to protect the service.

We may update these Terms. We will update the effective date and provide additional notice when required. Continuing to use the service after updated Terms take effect constitutes acceptance.

Suspension and termination

You may stop using the service at any time and cancel a paid plan through the Customer Portal. We may suspend or terminate access for material breach, illegal or harmful use, nonpayment, security risk, or conduct that threatens the service or others. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

Disclaimers and liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, LocalAuditHQ is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, noninfringement, availability, or accuracy.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the operator of LocalAuditHQ will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business opportunity. Aggregate liability arising from the service will not exceed the amount you paid for it during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, or $100 if you paid nothing.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions or limits, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
